Project Title

Community Involvement against Corruption

Project Aim

This project aims to build awareness among common people in order to increase accountability of public officials towards stakeholders to reduce corruption in public service delivery organizations at local levels of Bangladesh.

Project Rationale

In Bangladesh corruption is deeply rotted in top down approach consensus involvement of common people can play an important role to reduce corruption by ensuring accountability towards them.

Project Action

To achieve the project’s aim I will utilize community initiated and led development approach (involvement in monitoring and evaluation of citizen charter), community dialogue and community action. I will use E-mail, Blog in order to communicate with the community to make the actions of my project to be implemented.

Risk Identification

In undertaking this work I will need to be mindful of corrupt practices and chaotic and complex situations of community engagement. It might also be difficult to get immediate response wihin the community for not having access of internet everywhere.
